Château de Chazoux

Country:

France

Burgundy-Mâconnais

Region:

Right in the heart of the Mâcon region, Chazoux Estate has been the property of the same family for two centuries. A magnificent vineyard stretches over an area of sixteen hectares surrounding a landscaped garden which shelters the castle. The vineyards spread out down onto the hillsides which overlook on the Saône valley.
Christophe de la Chapelle, a landscape gardener, has taken over the family estate for a few years now with the aim of carrying on the tradition and authenticity of its wines while favoring quality and modernity. The wines are produced in a traditional vaulted cellar which is located right in the heart of the estate. The Chazoux vineyards are planted with Burgundy’s three main varietals: Chardonnay for white wine, Gamay and Pinot noir for the reds.
